Our Wash & Blow Dry service is a lovely way to keep your dog fresh, clean and comfortable between full grooms, or after a particularly muddy adventure. At The Highland Groom Shack, our home-based grooming space in Ardersier offers a calm, welcoming setting where we take time to get to know your dog. Whether they’re a confident regular or visiting for the first time, we tailor their appointment to their coat, temperament and individual needs.

Their visit begins with a thorough wash using shampoo selected to suit their coat and skin. We gently work through the coat to remove everyday dirt, grease and unwanted odours, paying attention to those areas that tend to collect muck. A careful rinse removes the shampoo, and conditioning products can be used where appropriate to help leave the coat soft, manageable and ready for drying.

After their bath, your dog is gently towel-dried before being carefully blow-dried at a pace they feel comfortable with, allowing breaks when needed. We finish with a brush-through suited to their coat type, helping to remove loose hair and leave them looking tidy and refreshed. It’s a practical option for maintaining their coat between grooming appointments, with your dog heading home clean, smelling lovely and ready for a well-earned cuddle.
